BPG Comic Book Indiegogo is Live!

UPDATE 12/6/2018:

The colored version of the comic cover came in, minus the logo, which is in process. That is fine with me, because I really wanted a textless version at some point, so now I don't have to ask for one. I'm really happy with the art, so thanks goes to Octographics.net for their great work.

The main difference between The BulletProof Ghost in the comics and the novel, is that Kyle has blue glowing eyes in the comics. This wasn't my request, but was done on the fly by the Octographics. Luckily I like the change. This is the first time that Kyle has been rendered without his helmet on, so some minor changes for a more visual medium had to be expected.

On a different note, the Indiegogo is at 10% funded, which is a bit behind schedule. So if you would, head over to the Indiegogo page, link at the top of this page, and pledge $1, $5, $10 or more if you like the great rewards offered in the higher echelons of the campaign.

ORIGINAL POST:

So if you didn't just go right to the crowdfunding campaign for the comic book, then I guess I should explain a few things about how Indiegogo works.

So, you pledge money from $1 to $1000, and receive your chosen perk that corresponds to the amount you pay. You don't have to pay anything upfront, but you will have your money withdrawn in 45 days, which is when the campaign ends. If you live close to me, then I can refund your shipping costs when you pick up your comic. More information about the release of the comic book later, you know, when it's fully funded.

The rest of the pertinent info is listed in the depths of the campaign page. You don't need to sign up for an account, so the process is really, really easy. Some of the rewards are in a limited quantity, especially the BPG Funko Pop figure.

Oh, did I forget to mention that? Yeah, that's happening. It'll take some doing, but Scott Loesch is sculpting the armor pieces and I'll be using an Xbox 360 Kinect to scan said pieces & 3D printing them, attaching and painting them. Then I'll decorate the box accordingly with my limited, but adequate photoshop skills. I'm really excited about this one, bc it started as a simply painting job idea by Sarah, but quickly culminated into this multi-person undertaking.

Please enter your email into the Subscribe panel above. You can get updates the moment I know about them.

There are perk levels for everyone, so check it out now. Go go go!

Let's make this happen, together.
